Reverse 5 Beat Weave

What you need to do :

The 5 beat reverse weave is much trickier than the 5 beat forward weave

*of course, you will need to know how to do the 3 beat reverse weave*

It is easier to start off by figuring out the wrist wrap on the left side.  Normally, when you do the 3 beat reverse weave, your left hand will swing the left poi towards the right side after the 3rd beat.

In this case, bend your left wrist around, over and above your right wrist to swing the left poi another circle on your left side. In the meanwhile, your right wrist will wrap around your left wrist, under and towards the right to swing the right poi towards your right side. Your right poi should be the first poi that swings from the left side to the right, instead of the left poi.

Tip: when you're trying to swing that right poi to the right side during the  wrist wrap, lean towards your left side to let your right hand stretch  around that wrist wrap, towards the right side and to allow greater clearance.

Happy trying.  If you have problems with this one, give me a shout at the forum. This is a real tricky one.  Courtesy of Eka =)
